Okay so there is this one character I have that just likes to cause chaos. I made him a giant about 100 feet tall or so, but he likes showing off his size especially among any humans that he runs across. No one has been seriously injured yet, but I'd like to pay him a visit to hopefully straighten him out.
I am traveling in the woods nearby where I know he roams around. He was my creation, but once I make anyone they become a bit unpredictable. After walking for about an hour I sit down, and pull out my compass, and map. 'That's funny, he should be around here.' I think to myself. I let out a deep sigh, and walk on. He has to be somewhere within about a mile of here. Looking to my right I see the river that is his main water, and food source. It is around noon so maybe he had taken a nap after lunch or something?
Looking around I get a good take of my surroundings. Tall pine trees mixed with maples, and other like trees for as far as I could see. I was currently standing in a sort of bald spot in the forest nearby the river. Looking up I could see the sky was quite clear, and the sun shone brightly. The silhouette of a few birds cross the sky, and their calls echo through the area. It was actually quite refreshing being out here like this. Nature always had that effect on me.
The ground gave a light crunch as I walked on. Still no sign of the big guy, I should really be able to hear him quite easily. 'Why did I have to give him so much attitude? Maybe if I had toned it down a bit I wouldn't have to be out here on this wild goose chase?'
Upon hearing the water lightly splashing in the river it felt as though it was calling me. I didn't bring anything that I could really get wet in, but I still loved the water. Walking over I could smell the water. That crisp clean sent of fresh water. I reached the bank of the water where if I went any further it would be muddy. I wasn't a fan I getting down, and dirty so I admired it from where I was.
The water sparkled from the sunlight in it's small ripples. I could easily make out the rocks on the edge of the water bed. It was so clear I could even make out some fish swimming with the current. All in all it was very beautiful. I listened to the peaceful sounds of the river until the hairs on the back of my neck started to stand up. It almost felt like I was being watched.
Slowly I turned around, but before I could really see a wall seemed to push me down into the mud. I landed backwards on my butt, and hands. I groan in frustration as I bring my hands up, and attempt to shake off any mud. Surly enough a deep rumbling sound started to vibrate through the air. I look up to see none other than Chad laughing his ass off.
His slightly tan skin almost glowing in the afternoon sun, and his light brown hair covering his hazel eyes as he laughed uncontrollably. It was him alright. I did my best to stand up, but just slid in the mud once more landing on my butt. 'Well I'm going to have my work cut out for me.' I took a deep breath, and tried to get his attention.
“Hey!” I yelled out, but it seemed to be in vain. He was laughing so hard at my now second fall that his hand was over half his face, and he looked to be going red. I did my best to just stay calm as he had his laughing fit. Why did he have to enjoy messing with humans so much? I swear I didn't make that a part of his personality.
I watched as he proceeded to fall back from his kneeling position. Landing on his ass with a thud that shook the ground, and trees. Luckily I had already been on my own ass in the mud or I would have surly fallen again. Slowly I stood up doing my best not to fall again. I managed to walk back onto the grass, but I was still all covered in mud. Begrudgingly I wiped some of the mud off of my hands, and onto my jeans.
Chad was now on his back with one hand over his stomach as he seemed to catch his breath. I stood beside him with my hands on my hips.
“Hey!”, I yelled out once more. That seemed to get his attention. He turned his head toward me.
“Oh, brave aren't we?” He said slyfuly. A grin forming across his giant mug.
“What was that stunt you just pulled?” I asked demandingly as I switched to crossing my arms.
“Just a little fun.” He snickered. “Not much you can do about it though.” His grin grew bigger. I did my best to keep my serious stare at him, but soon he reached for me.
“What do you think you're doing?” I frantically spit out as I became encased in his hand.
“You just seem so intent on talking to me, I figured I'd get a better look at you.”
“Put me down this instant!”
“Ich” He blurted out as his hand started to lift me up. “Someone's all dirty. Now I need to wash my hands.” He got to a kneeling position, and was easily leaning over the river.
“You can't be serious?” I bellowed out. His hands got closer to the water.
“Oh, I can't have mud on my hands. And it looks like a little someone could use a wash as well.”
“I don't need....” I tried to protest, but my head was submerged before I could get another word out. The cold water sucked the heat out of me, and saturated my clothes. I would have much rather come home with muddy clothes than being soaked like this. Damn this jerk, I was going to have to kick it up a notch. I hated cold water.
I had only been submerged for a few seconds when he lifted his hand back up, and I could breath. I let out a gasp as soon as I my head was above the water. His hand went flat, and I was forced to hold on a bit to not be carried off by the current. I was actually a good swimmer, but clothes added a lot of drag. I glared up at him, and he seemed to enjoy my distaste in the situation.
“Seems like you need a bit more to get all this off toots.” I hated that word, but before I could get a word in I was sandwiched between his hands as he did an almost lathering motion with me in the middle. Water splashed everywhere, and it wasn't a pleasant feeling at all. “Might as well get this pack off too.”
“Hey...”, before I could continue he had swiftly pulled my backpack off, and placed it on the grass. At least he put it somewhere somewhat safe. I sighed, but was met with more of this lathering motion as I was being covered with the chilly water. I began to shiver despite being moved around so much in his hands.
“Oh, is someone cold?” He said in an almost playful tone. He proceeded to pluck me up out of the water by holding my hip between his thumb, and fingers. My feet dangled in the air as I coughed, and caught my breath.
“You're going to regret this!” I managed to spurt out once I had caught my breath.
“Oh yeah?” He belted out in a tone that showed he was amused by my threat. His hand moved so I was right in front of his face. I couldn't even see his mouth I was so close, and at level with his eyes. “And what is a pipsqueak like you going to do?”
